Texts from Reachwise

How people agree to texts from Reachwise

Reachwise texts two groups of people, and only those who turn texts on themselves: parents of children who ride a church's bus, on the bus rider permission form, and a team's own leaders, in the app. Reachwise writes every text it sends.

Bus families: the bus rider permission form

Parents and guardians sign their church's bus rider permission form in the Reachwise app or online. Next to their phone number is "OK to text me about bus pickups". It's off until they turn it on, and it isn't required to sign the form or to ride the bus.

Your church: bus rider permission

I agree to receive automated text messages from Reachwise for the church at the phone number above about bus pickups, such as pickup times, reminders and a note when the bus workers stopped by and missed us. Agreeing isn’t required to sign this form or to ride the bus. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. What they get, in Reachwise's words with their pickup time and their route leader's number filled in:

  • "Reachwise for Grace Chapel: The bus comes by about 9:15 AM Sunday morning. We hope to see your kids! Call or text Pat at 812-555-0111 with any questions. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Reachwise for Grace Chapel: Our bus workers stopped by today to see if your kids would like to ride the bus to church tomorrow, but missed you. The bus comes by about 9:15 AM. Call or text Pat at 812-555-0111 with any questions. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • Also: no bus this Sunday, and the bus is running late.

Team leaders: Text me alerts

A signed-in team member opens the app's More → Alerts, turns on "Text me alerts" and enters their own mobile number. The screen says: "Turn this on to also get these alerts as text messages from Reachwise. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help." They get short alerts about their own team, such as "Reachwise: Bus ride request. 412 Maple St has children who want a bus ride (Zone 2). Reply STOP to stop these texts."

For everyone

Message frequency varies, usually a few texts a week at most. Message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP to any text stops them; HELP gets help. Signed forms keep the wording, the signature and the date. No marketing.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. See the privacy policy and terms.
